it's the music nerd in me, but i always notice when indie-ish bands are featured in ads.
while i wouldn't go as far as calling their songs "sacred," i was genuinely surprised to hear a joy division song being used in a liquor advert. strange. what's next, bauhaus shilling for budweiser? the cure selling coors?
